New Year Firmnesses of Purpose
Also, on the same spiritual note, if you’re happen to be in KL and questing after a hip hop joint to bang, DO NOT GO to Glow. The place stanked bigtime thanks to the uncreativeness of its DJ. The music was atrocious and to top it off, she kept on reprizing them. 50% of the time was reggaeton stuff, which can become exceedingly annoying after 5 minutes, that you would rather listen to Crazy Frog. Then, she outdoes herself by playing Ashanti and Ja Rule, who to me should’ve been born as Tamils and made Tamil songs instead. Ashanti and Ja Rule are the paradigm of hip hop scraps.
Bar Ibiza is booming with “mat rempits”, and Planet Hollywood makes you feel old, cause most of the ladies there are scarcely 18 years. No thanks to Zouk, most hip hop joints are now on the brink of defunctness, with exception to Bar Savanh and its demoniacal liquor prices. If you happen to know a respectable hip hop joint or a club that plays civilized music and not some trance jabberwocky, do share your comments here.I have guiltily slipped off my gym workout routine these last 2 weeks. I blame it on Santa Claus! Have made arrangements for tonight’s gym excursion as I ramble on to jostle myself to a ruddier cognitive state for 2006. As for the somatic side of things, will need to pull the plug on alcohol or else it’ll only be a waste of energy. Nahhhhh….who am I kidding? LOL!
The highlight of my final week of 2005 was encountering a friend through Friendster. We have already met each other for 4 times since then and I find her rather magnetic on a noetic level. Our topics for confabulation never seem to desiccate, thus making the experience of meeting her all the more invaluable. I have met a number of friends via friendster, and she’s the first person that I could instantly harmonize with. I look forward to meeting her again as we carry on building on the friendster theme – friendship.
Apart from that, I’ve also been in steady contact with a Sabahan, who has recently consecrated a butterfly tattoo on the upper left side of her butt cheek. She has pledged to me an exclusive sneak preview in the coming weeks when she graces West Malaysia with her presence. OLE!It’s gonna be a helluva 2006! I can feel it in my bones!
