My Most Original Christmas Eve Celebration

It’s as original as they come, I spent a good 2 hours of Christmas Eve in an Irish pub called Durty Nelly’s in the city of Perth, 3:30pm onwards, with a Guinness and a book I just bought off a store. It was a much-needed time alone for soul-searching and the most contented feeling I had in a long time.

Merry Christmas.

  1. We all need a moment of stillness in our lives – hope you find the peace and clarity you seek. I know exactly what you mean. When i was in Melbourne earlier this year, I took the time to break away from my husband and in-laws every now and then to sit in a tiny cafe with my coffee and writing. Not only was it zen but I got so much work done in just a few days!

Merry Christmas Gallivanter – may you keep gallivanting ;)
