A Weekend Alcoholic – Keeping Tabs on Your Calories Consumption
Again, you don’t get a pot belly from drinking beer, but it’s a combination of food and drinks intake. So, I decided to do some research on calories and now follow a certain alcoholic diet on the weekends, if we go out.
So, here you go, what I have researched, for your spiritual pleasure.
1 Pint of Guinness – 210 calories
1 Pint of Kilkenny – 220 calories
1 Pint of Tiger – 280 calories
1 Pint of Carlsberg – 280 calories
1 Pint of Heineken – 280 calories
Technically, let’s say a person’s daily intake of food is 2000 calories, so if you’re already had breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between, how much more calories can you have before your body’s unable to process it fast enough and it turns to fat instead?
Hence why exercising is important. To give you an idea, if you weigh 70kg, you’d probably burn approx 300 to 400 calories in 30 minutes, that’s equivalent to approximately 1.5 pints of Guinness. So, if you have regular bingeing weekends, you’ll need to exercise more.
So, drink wisely, in the sense of choosing what you drink.
