Who would’ve ever thought the Malaysian government approved Russell Peters historic Malaysian event to be held. Having said that, I’m not holding my breath as Malaysia is notoriously infamous for “cancelations” for “cultural” reasons.
Tickets will go on sale at 9am 18 April 2012 via www.airasiaredtix.com and www.ticketpro.com.my. It’s taking place at the Shah Alam Indoor Stadium on 12 May 2012 at 8:30pm.
Ticket prices are RM128, RM188, RM248, RM338 and RM438. I’m guessing jokes would be based on persons who purchased the RM438 and RM338 tickets so please be very sporting.
It’s very rarely we get comedians of this calibre visiting Malaysia, except for the Malaysian politicians of course. I’m going.
Maybe Jeff Dunham and Achmed The Dead Terrorist next? Yeah right! That guy affects the Malay-sian “culture” lah.

All tickets were sold within 2 hours of opening. I tried online and even queued at a music store but lost out to thousands of fans. Russell has now agreed to do a second show on 11 May 2012. Tickets are priced the same. This time though, I used my insider connection to secure 2 tickets. Oh my gut I’m going to see Russell! Oh my GUT!
